The Commonwealth Government site provides information on aged services and referral options. The site will be the central site for Aged Care service entry, after the Victorian services are transitioned in July 2016 for older people (65 plus) requiring home support See link My Aged Care Website
Local Neighbourhood Centre that provides local training, recreational opportunities to the St Kilda and Elwood Communities.

Volunteer Victoria is the peak body representing volunteer organisations across Victoria, supporting the quality delivery of volunteer services. It provides information and training in relation to volunteer recruitment, management and support. See link Volunteer Victoria Website
Ashburton Support Services is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports mature aged people and people with a disability to live rich, independent and socially connected lives in our community. The services are focused on maintaining the quality of life and enabling people to remain in their own homes. These include Meals on Wheels, excursions, social activities, fitness classes, gardening support and health support.

This Local Government website supports City of Port Phillip residents with information about local facilities, access to services and bill payment facilities. See link City of Port Phillip Website
The site provides information about the NDIS and how it will support people with a disability as it begins to be rolled out in the future.
Travellers Aid Australia is a not-for-profit with a long history. Since 1916, they've provided simple, practical travel-related support and aid that helps people travel independently and confidently, no matter their background.
Volunteers are available to support travellers who are older, or have a disability, and need support on public transport.

Sacred Heart Mission has a long history of providing support to the most disadvantaged in our community, the service supports the City of Port Phillip and other areas in around Melbourne.

The Centre Clinic is a part of the Victorian AIDS Council, the service specialises in supporting the GLBTI community. Older members of this community can at times feel unsure about accessing support, the clinic can help by providing access to services. See links below.

Carers provide care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail aged.

COTA Australia is the peak national organisation representing the rights, needs and interests of older Australians. COTA Australia is the national policy and advocacy arm of the COTA Federation which comprises COTAs in each State and Territory. Rotary Albert Park (part of Rotary International) is a group of neighbours, friends, and community leaders providing humanitarian service, encouraging high ethical standards in all pursuits and helping build goodwill and peace locally and worldwide. The club was established in 1992 and has a long history of service to the local community.

Donating to the South Melbourne Community Chest Op Shop supports the funding of grants to the Port Phillip community. The shop is located at 200 Bank St South Melbourne, open 10 to 5pm week days, 10 to 2pm Saturdays. Contact 9699 6839 for more information or if you are interested in volunteering. The shop does not have a website.
